NessFlow vs Semrush
This is not a feature-count comparison: Semrush has more features. It is about the nature of the numbers, and about three areas a general-purpose suite does not cover.

What Semrush does very well
Some of the largest keyword and backlink databases on the market, wide geographic coverage, and marketing tooling that reaches well beyond technical SEO. For market research and competitive intelligence at scale, it is an excellent tool.
What each one covers
This comparison reflects the scope each vendor published as of August 2026.
| Criterion | Semrush | NessFlow |
|---|---|---|
| Nature of the numbers | Many values are modelled estimates (traffic, difficulty, authority): useful for comparing, never for proving. | Every number carries its label: measured, ceiling, or computed. What is not measured shows an em dash, never a zero. |
| Server logs | Not part of the standard offering. | Built-in parser, human versus crawler traffic split, cross-referenced with the crawl and Search Console. |
| AI answer engines | Mention tracking, disconnected from the technical crawl of the site. | Access matrix for AI crawlers, llms.txt validation, share of citations recorded from real answers, cross-referenced with what the crawl finds. |
| Accessibility | Out of scope. | Rendered audit, contrast cards, exportable compliance report. |
| JavaScript rendering | Available, with quotas that depend on the plan. | Real rendering, switched on per campaign, with a comparison between two runs. |
| Functional breadth | Far wider than ours: advertising, social, content monitoring. | Deliberately narrower. We do audit and visibility, and we do it with measurements. |
Our conclusion
How we read it
If your job is to explore a market, find keywords and watch competitors, a general-purpose suite is the right tool. If your job is to prove that a technical site works (that crawlers reach it, that the servers confirm it, that it is accessible and cited) estimates stop being enough.
Often both
The two tools do not replace each other: one opens the market, the other proves the execution. Many teams keep both, and that is a reasonable choice.

Compare on your site, not on our table
A table is worth exactly as much as the person who wrote it. Run an audit on your own domain and read what the engine finds, that is the only comparison that concerns you.
